This bar is made from wild Amazonian cacao. This highly aromatic cacao grows in the north of the country’s Amazon rainforest, in the province of Napo. As you would expect, this is the least populated area of the country and it is in this fascinating and unspoilt territory that you will find the native and ancient cacao trees that grow in the Chakras, the forest gardens, of some native tribes. Cacao has a unique flavour, characterised by notes of Taggiasca olives, spices, and hints of fruit and flowers, and once it has been transformed into chocolate it becomes particularly delicious, to the point of being defined as ‘chocolaty’.
