Extra Dark Chocolate Bar
73% cacao min.
The “Uncommon” collection is produced with cacao beans from special micro-lots, each selected from a Single Origin cacao with a unique sensory profile, as it is created with cocoa butter prepared from the beans of the same micro-lot.
These are rare cacao seeds like Chuno® Ingemann from Nicaragua. Harvested by a group of about ninety growers in the San José de Bocay region, surrounded by the Bosawas Natural Reserve. The pods are characterized by yellow and green colors, and they have a broad and elongated shape. The Chuno cacao bean is a unique variety that has received the prestigious Heirloom Cacao Preservative Initiative recognition, awarded to cacao growers who contribute to the protection and preservation of fine-flavored cacao varieties, known as “heirlooms,” and to the strengthening of farming communities.
