It was our aim to create something new that would enhance the typical characteristics of the best organic almonds of Toritto – cultivar “Filippo Cea” – and the Arriba Nacional Cacao from Ecuador. The result is an amazing dark chocolate bar that will delight for its creaminess and the rich organoleptic profile. Enjoy this delicious treat.

Ingredients

54% min. cacao. Organic cacao beans Ecuador, organic cacao butter, organic cane sugar, organic peeled almond (20%), organic coconut blossom sugar; Emulsifier: organic sunflower lecithin; Bali fleur de Sel, organic Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla. May contain traces of milk and other nuts.

A perfect match between Almonds from Toritto and the Cacao Arriba Nacional Ecuador. A creamy delicacy with notes of masterfully roasted almonds, and hints of flowers and tropical fruits..

Ecuador is the land where the Theobroma Cacao plant was domesticated, and where people have been growing and consuming cacao for almost 5,000 years. Ecuadorian cacao is of Nacional genetics, recognised worldwide as one of the best raw materials due to its rich organoleptic properties.

The Toritto Almond, cultivar “Filippo Cea“, is closely linked to the territory and contributes to its biodiversity. It is cultivated using organic farming methods in the Alta Murgia National Park. In 2004 the Toritto Almond became part of the Ark of Taste, obtaining recognition as a Slow Food Presidium; in the same year the Puglia region identified it as a ‘typical and traditional product’.
