The Sun Stone

The Sun Stone is a crystal with warm tones that gives bright flashes, like those of the sun from which it takes its name. It has always been considered a stone capable of bringing beauty and joy just like a ray of sunshine. In ancient times it was believed that she had fallen from the sky during an eclipse, so it was considered a great good luck charm.

Pietra del Sole

Ecuador is the land where the Theobroma Cacao plant was domesticated, and where people have been growing and consuming cacao for almost 5,000 years. Ecuadorian cacao is of Nacional genetics, recognised worldwide as one of the best raw materials due to its rich organoleptic properties.

The Trinitario cacao of Tanzania, the East African country known for its natural beauty such as Kilimanjaro, grows in Mbingu (Paradise in Kiswahili) in the Kilombero Valley, on the edge of the beautiful Udzungwa Mountain National Park. A rural area where Kokoa Kamili works with small local farmers.

Passion fruit, or Maracuya, owes its name to Christian symbolism because the flower evokes the crown of thorns, the nails and the hammer. It contains many antioxidants, minerals and passiflorine, a substance that acts as a mild sedative, which can promote relaxation. The tribes of the Amazon have always used this fruit as a painkiller.

When Columbus landed on the island of Guadeloupe he discovered what appeared to him to be a large pine cone: Piña. Hence its name in several languages. Its sweet taste made it an instant success. Thanks to its high content of substances such as bromelain and vitamin C, the pineapple is considered to be a healthy and useful food because it aids diuresis, is digestive and has strong antioxidant powers.

The lemon is a true symbol of Italy in the world. It ripens most of the year: the primroses and verdellos in spring and summer, the winter ones in the cold season, the lunars at every moon – that is, every month. Its precious refreshing, activating and energising essential oil is used in perfumery and cooking. Approximately 30 kg of lemon fruit are needed to obtain 100 ml of oil.

Bergamot, whose origins are debated, has been cultivated in Calabria since the early 18th century, particularly in the coastal Ionian area in the province of Reggio, so much so that it has become a symbol of the whole area and the city. The essential oil is exported all over the world for its property of giving an extremely fresh note. Cold-pressed, it takes about 4 kg of fruit to obtain 10 ml of product.
